We Sancrescians stand out for having chosen the targeted self-sufficiency and industriousness to the domestic economy and to the recovery of ancient crafts of the peasant culture of the 1900s as well as committing ourselves to restore the old farmhouses belonging to the San Cresci Agricultural Historical Estate. In this way, from January 1, 2016, we occupy spaces left by previous populations because they moved to the city during the pre-industrial era and others left by the Ancille of the Holy Trinity Conservatory. All this was noted thirty years ago by the University of Florence and purchased by us in 2015.
PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the Centro San Cresci is to inform and pursue from the very beginning, through the creation with practical examples, a repeatable and spreadable lifestyle model bringing knowledge to the largest number of people possible of the values set in the daily life of a life shared by deep relationships, healthy, natural, balanced, fruitful and constructive also for the environment in which we live.
​Perhaps returning to living in the rural world could be more complicated and difficult, but at the same time fascinating, with new horizons and enormous opportunities.

Now we must change our way of life with awareness and responsibility, taking the "courage" to leave the cities where the lifestyle is a source of stress, disease and pollution, recovering and repopulating other abandoned rural villages both in Italy and in Europe leaving possibilities of life to future generations, we must evolve.
The responsibility lies in acting with farsightedness, competence, seriousness, with a vision, identifying the priorities for the realization of the Project, avoiding absurd promises that then are not able to maintain or that would make the Project jump.

San Cresci is located 35 km north of Florence, in the Mugello area. A paradise surrounded by greenery, a good retreat for all those looking for a serene oasis without getting too far from the city of Florence - (Italy)
HIGHWAY
The Mugello area is easily accessible by the A1 motorway exiting at the Barberino del Mugello tollbooth, entering the 551 state road following the signs for Borgo San Lorenzo in the San Cresci area.
AIRPLANE
For those who prefer to travel by train to Borgo San Lorenzo, there is a train station and a bus that reaches San Cresci in 10 minutes.
TRAIN & BUS
For people coming from far away in Florence there is the airport with shuttle service that connects to the Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station.
